THE LOST LOVE

Here’s the rest story of Ria and her crush.

They became best friends after chatting almost every single day. Here comes the twist. One day he told her that he had a girlfriend and they were dating for the past 1 year and he really loved that girl. Do you think Ria can digest all these things?  She wasn’t expecting that at all. And she wasn’t expecting him to propose her either. Ria is actually very good at acting, even now. She keeps all those negative feelings inside her head. She asked him whether that girl know about her. And he told that, “Yeah, I told her that I got a new sister Ria and she asks about you every time she calls me.” 

Girls usually keep themselves on a safer side by keeping boys in friends zone. But look at this, how that boy made Ria into siblings zone. Funny, right ? Ria as always didn’t show any numb reactions and she kept smiling and told him that, “Oh, that’s great. Looks like my parents got one more kid and my life’s biggest sadness of not getting a brother is now gone. I’m so happy for you my brother and for me too.” Ria talked to him as usual and she wouldn’t ask much about his girlfriend. But she was happy. She had him near her whenever she needed him. And he was so supportive and loving. They might not be dating, but they were best friends.

 Later, after some very good going months, they were barely talking. Both of them were busy in studies and they didn’t talk for like 1 year. One day, after the exams were over, they met accidently. She was so happy to see him and he also seemed happy to see her after so long. They talked a lot and he finally told her that he and his girlfriend broke up. Usually, people will be happy if their crush broke up with somebody. But Ria was not like that. She felt his sadness. She knew that he really loved that girl and he was so happy with her. She really felt sorry for him. She was sad too because she can’t see him sitting sad. But he moved on easily.

Suddenly, one day he proposed Ria. That happened when she least expected it. She never wanted things to go that way. She had decided earlier to never fall for him and he was her brother, her best friend, one she could tell every secrets of her except the secret crush. But her reply was all of a sudden, she said yes. Ria, you are so dumb, girl. You did something what you never wanted to. This wasn’t in your mind at all. But it happened anyway. She loved him. She loved him more than he loved herself. They were so happy, things were going perfect. And her friends knew about that. Some were genuinely happy and some pretended to be happy with jealousy inside.

Every happy moment has an ending. Nothing is permanent. He stopped talking to her all of a sudden. And she was not happy with that. Who would be? But she was a girl with no ego and she used to text him every alternate day. She never got a reply and she was always waiting for his text. He was not like before. He didn’t want her anymore. He was so busy. Communication is the key for every relationship. Ria was very upset and she talked to some of her best friends including me about all these. And we told her that, “This is not what you deserve. You are so good and there is more good things waiting for you and you have to move on. You have many things to tell and he’s not ready to hear that. He doesn’t deserve you. You have to move on.” And I think that is the best advice I’ve ever given someone, to move on.

She did that. She did what all of us told her. It's good to follow the advises of people who actually cares about you. May be not always but I think most of the times. 

Ria is happy now. And she never wants all those things to happen again, we won’t let that happen. She hasn’t broken up officially with him, but she has moved on and she is pretty sure that he also has moved on. He is brave and intelligent. And Ria is more intelligent and brave than him.

 So, this is the end of her school love story. Ria, I am looking forward for you to tell me a happy love story. You deserve the best.
